On Decluttering

In response to “Decluttering the Soul” (June Dispatch), Beth Staggenborg of Cincinnati, Ohio, writes:
(This dispatch is) a penetrating look at aging but not old age…. I go through the same thought process of decluttering, releasing old desires and wants as the months and years go by. At the same time, I’ve found joy and fulfillment in a quiet day with time to read and watch nature out the window. Not being always busy and productive doesn’t frustrate me … though it still nags and tempts me.
On Trees
Beth Staggenborg continues in response to Karen Rush’s comments on tress (June You Write):
My husband) and I challenged ourselves to learn every tree on our property and the unexpected result is a personal connection with individuals and a joy in watching them mature.
